Grand Illuminations – DTLA Holiday Light Experience

This holiday season, The Yard Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles is transformed into a vibrant spectacle of light and celebration with Grand Illuminations, an immersive light installation by Liquid PXL. From December 4, 2024, through January 8, 2025, The Yard at Cal Plaza (350 S. Grand Avenue) becomes a glowing destination for all ages to enjoy.

The centerpiece of the experience is a stunning 25-foot-tall LED tree surrounded by 10 radiant Electric Dandelions, Liquid PXL’s signature light sculptures. Guests can wander through an immersive landscape featuring the luminous Lumiverse light columns, overhead holiday lighting, and trellis garlands that weave festive color and sparkle throughout the plaza.

In addition to the light installations, the event includes seasonal vendor booths offering holiday snacks, warm drinks, and festive trinkets—creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere for families, friends, and visitors alike.

Grand Illuminations is more than a holiday display—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the magic of light during the most wonderful time of the year.
